Directions

The Mortimer Country Food Fair takes place on the Aardvark Books site in the village of Brampton Bryan. To reach Aardvark Books come in to the village and turn left (if coming from Ludlow) onto the road sign posted for Lingen. Parking is 120 yards down on the right and the Fair entrance is opposite on the left.


By Car

If you are coming from Ludlow, Leominster or Hereford drive along the A49 until you are north of Ludlow, and turn onto the A4113. Drive through Leintwardine and go over the bridge next to the Lion Hotel. In 250 yards turn right onto the road marked for Knighton. Drive through the Hamlet of Walford past the Drawing Gallery and the village of Brampton Bryan is another 2 miles on on the same road.



By Train

The nearest train station is at Bucknell which is on the Heart of Wales Line that runs between Shrewsbury and Swansea. Come out of the station and turn right heading away from the level crossing. Walk for 1/2 mile until you reach a bridge. Go over the bridge and turn left. 3/4 mile later you will reach Brampton Bryan.

By Bus

From Ludlow or Knighton take the 738 Bus to Bramton Bryan. (Only one bus per day in each direction.)
